Welcome to SE Dental, family owned and operated and servicing the Naracoorte area for over 18 years. We are a trusted dental practice that is dedicated to providing the best in dental treatments and care for our patients. Our staff are all expertly trained in not only dental care, but also in identifying and assessing dental concerns, preventative measures and determining treatment plans and tailoring a treatment to each patient. Our 3 chair practice has just recently been upgraded to facility that is warm, modern and tranquil. This is to ensure that all patients of all ages feel welcomed and comfortable. You can expect premium level care from our dentists, dental assistants and hygienists.
SE Dental is proud to be an all inclusive dental facility that is wheelchair friendly. But we also offer sedation dentistry (happy gas) for those patients that are nervous about going to the dentists. We also use computer guided technology for our dental implants and are the first dental practice in the South East that has and uses CBCT and OPG technologies.
Meet The Friendly Staff
Anjali (Anj ) graduated in 1993 and thereafter was selected from a pool of overseas dentist to complete a two year bridging programme at the Dental School at the University of Adelaide graduating in 2006.
Moved to Naracoorte in 2006 and started working part time as the local dentist with the South Australia Dental Services ( SA Dental ) and at SE Dental Naracoorte as a Principal Dentist.
She has extensive experience accumulated over 17 years offering professional and personalised care for all her patients.
She is extremely skilful, calm and approachable and has an enormous loyal patient base in the entire South East.
Professionally , Anjali has been active in continuing education and has been certified and offers Nitrous Oxide ( Happy Gas ) to both children and anxious adults for over 5 years.
Gaurav, (a difficult name for most), is very happy to be called ‘ G ‘. Graduated overseas worked and gained valuable experience in East Africa. He was offered a bridging programme at the University Of Adelaide which he completed in 2005 graduating and being awarded ‘ Sir Joseph Verco Memorial Prize ‘ in General Dentistry (2005). G moved to Naracoorte and started working full-time over 18 years ago and considers himself a local. He has extensive knowledge and skill , gained over the years and endeavours to provide each of his clients personalised care. He has upgraded his skills by attaining Surgical training for implant dentistry and has been placing dental implants here in Naracoorte for over 7 years using the very latest computer guided surgical techniques. Secondly, he also offers fixed braces for adults for improving smile and function with great results. Gaurav is the principal dentist at SE Dental here at Naracoorte and travels to Penola every Wednesday for over 5 years to service the wider South East region.
Joshua graduated from University of Adelaide and joined us in 2022. He was recommended by his tutors as a clinician with sound knowledge and skill which he gained during his training. Outside dentistry he enjoys outdoor walks and is committed to serving the community through his church. He has a loyal patient base which is to his credit in a short span of time.
Alison has extensive experience working with Orthodontist for a number of years . She has a keen eye for detail and this quality helps her to ensure all protocols and guidelines are adhered to by the entire team. She is known to be an amazing cook with several healthy recipes. Alison has two kids who are independent and have created a niche in their professional careers.
Molly by far is the most experienced DA, who has worked with a number of dentists for the past 29 years and she is often heard ‘ In the good old days ….’ She is a true local and knows just about everyone. Working at SE Dental for over 10 years she has been responsible in formulating our work ethics and Nitrous oxide and implant assistant. Molly was a keen netball player for years but now is team manager at the local netball club. She has two kids with the elder pursing his passion in creative writing, whilst the younger is at high school.
Meagan has keen interest in photography and amazing skill in restoration of furniture. She travels up north each year with her family exploring the vast outback. We often get to see her travels through her lens. Meagan has two children who have done well in their chosen profession.
Teagan has extensive experience working for different dentists in S.A and has for the last few years settled in Naracoorte. A valuable member of the team, has gained experience assisting for Dental Implants and Nitrous Oxide cases. She is a keen netball player often winning ‘Best and Fairest ‘ on court. Her two daughters keep her busy who also play sport.
Sophie has been a part of the team for over 5 years . She is versatile in nature and due to this quality she is trained to assist in Dental implant surgeries besides being regular DA. Outside work Sophie has two young boys at school that keep her busy. She is extremely focused towards her personal fitness and disciplined to achieving her goals.
Cheryl has years of experience in accountancy and ensures all deadlines are met.
The bookkeeper, an important member of the team, ensuring the back office paperwork is up to date. Lisa is a true animal lover with her favourite ‘Big Bull’ on her farm in Coonawarra.
